TerryCalls (terrycalls.com) shows live market readings and the decisions of an automated agent named Terry. You can use the site without an account. If you create one, this page explains what we keep and why. We have written it in plain words on purpose.
What we collect
- Your email address, if you sign in with an emailed code or with Google.
- From Google, only if you choose “Continue with Google”: your Google account ID, your email address (when Google has verified it), your name and your profile picture address. We ask for nothing else.
- For a passkey: the passkey’s public key and a nickname for the device (for example “iPhone”). Your fingerprint or face never leaves your device and we never see it.
- For security: the IP address and browser description (user agent) of each sign-in, and a short log of account events such as sign-ins, added or removed sign-in methods, and deletions.
- Cookies: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, a security cookie that protects the sign-in forms, and short-lived cookies used only while a sign-in is in progress.
- If you join the waitlist: only your email address, when you asked, and when you confirmed it. Nothing else. It is not tied to an account.
- Separately from accounts, the site already counts anonymous visits and stores push-notification subscriptions for people who turn alerts on. Those are not tied to your account.
Why
To sign you in, keep your account secure, stop abuse, and send you the sign-in email you asked for. We do not use your information to advertise to you, and we do not sell it.
Who helps us run it
- Google, to sign you in when you choose Google.
- Resend, to deliver sign-in emails. They receive your email address and the message.
- Our hosting provider, which runs the servers.
TerryCalls’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to sign you in and show your name and picture in your account.
How long we keep it
- Sign-in codes are removed after they expire. Waitlist addresses are kept until you remove them or write to us. Sessions are removed when they expire (30 days after you were last seen) or when you sign out.
- The security log is kept for about six months.
- Your account details are kept until you delete your account.
The waitlist
If you leave your email on the waitlist, we send one confirmation email (through Resend). Your address is kept only once you confirm it; an address that is never confirmed is forgotten after three days. We will use it only to write to you when new TerryCalls features open, and every email from us has a link that removes it. Deleting your account also removes your address from the waitlist.
Your choices
- You can see and remove your sign-in methods, sign out everywhere, and delete your account from your account page. Deleting erases your account, its sign-in methods and its sessions.
- You can also write to support@terrycalls.com and we will delete your account or answer a question about your information.
Age
Accounts are for people 18 or older.
Changes
If we change this page in a way that matters, we will update the date above and, where we can, tell account holders by email.
